My fiance had just a small plain guess watch which she only wore for work. After a year or so, I came clean about my little fetish, and she has been really cool about it. Since Ive bought her a baby-g metal, very nice full size guess chrono, a white silicone ice watch, and a purple silicone ice watch.

The white ice, and large metal guess are the ones she typically wears when going out now. She still doesnt wear them as much as id like, but its a lot more than she used too .

Bought the missis a Ice watch but she found it a bit big - gutted ! Going to try again for xmas- will not be defeated !

Oh, I've tried that a couple of times aswell Don't give up!
Usually, what I do now, whenever I see a watch that I'd like the missus to wear, I show it to her in magazines or by other means, before I buy it. That's how I got her on the Speedway aswell as the Rotary Tank Americaine-wannabe, I simply showed her the originals, and got her the "homages". When she saw the Rotary, for a second she thought it was the real thing, because she overlooked the "Rotary" name on the fancy blue box.
Sure, I've taken a chance or two, and missed badly. The Oasis "Gucci-wannabe" was definitely a miss, she said she couldn't read the dial because of the small size and haven't worn it more than a few times. Fortunately it was a steal on eBay.

I have a new incoming "hit or miss" actually, a "vintage-style" watch I got from eBay the other day @ £3.99 all incl. Hope she likes it:

I love the pic of your wife with the Speedway! In fact, I just had to have one for myself, so I got the model with the black dial & I'm loving it! I can see why she won't take it off.
